MAAC Champions Return to the Court

The 2011 MAAC Champions are back to business. While the Peacocks have gone 1-4 in their first four starts, the team has faced all out of conference opponents. SPC Swim: Making Waves

The Peacocks swimming season started on October 21st at the Sonny Werblin Invitational. Both men’s and women’s teams started the invitational with great performances in all categories.

For the Peacocks Valerijs Lebedevs, Ayburk Ozturk, and Captain Peter Jimenez each took home individual wins. Jonathan Pitre also contributed by winning the 100 meter diving competition and two relay teams placed first and third in the 400 medley relays. The Peahens were competing against powerhouses Rutgers and Southern Connecticut, but shined nonetheless. Continue Reading

Saint Peter’s Parking Agenda

In order to make room for the construction of the proposed Student Center, changes in the school’s parking situation had to be made. Since the closing of Lot 2, parking at Saint Peter’s College has been more hectic and frenzied than usual. Students are confused as to where and when parking is available. Despite the opening of Lot 4 on the corner of Montgomery and West Side, both commuter and residential students are worried about how these changes will affect their ability to park comfortably.
